Mother’s Day Card

Haven’t made cards in awhile, so tonight I’m making some 5×5 cards. I’m drawn to these purpley-blues, I don’t know why! I went with a vintage/shabby look on this one. I’m trying really hard not to buy a lot of stuff since I’m loaded to the gills with stuff in my craft room, it’s hard not to buy all the latest… but years of buying all the latest has left me with more product than I can hope to use, so I’m on a self-emposed shopping strike. Here’s my card and the ingredients are below:

DCWV Glitter papers, Jenni Bowlin label, Apron Lace border punch from Fiskars, a digital image that I created, a photocopied page from a book and ribbon, a flower, a vintage button and gems from my stash. I inked my edges in CTMH chocolate ink. This card is available for purchase on Etsy. Thanks so much for looking!

Happy Mother’s Day

April is the craziest month of the year for me at work with big events and all that goes with preparing for them… so papercrafting gets put on the back burner – sad for me. Last night I made the first card I’ve made in weeks — a Mother’s Day card for my Mom… papers are Jenni Bowlin, stamps are CTMH and embellies are from ye olde stash. It was a cute and quick one!card1
