Dreary winter in Minnesota… so I needed something bright! Here is the Card Positioning Systems Sketch #155 for this week:
And here is my take on it — I flipped it sideways.
My stamp image is from Teresa Collins — I love her sentiments and graphics! The papers are all from KI Memories. Thanks for looking!
Last month I was surfing some online scrapbook shops and stumbled upon a designer whose papers and products I had not had the pleasure of seeing before. That designer is Teresa Collins… as I added some of her products to my shopping cart, I only wish I could have bought it all!
Before I knew it the man in brown was delivering my little package, and I soon made this layout which I posted a couple of weeks ago. I also sent it to Teresa, who posted it on her blog here!
That was a really fun thing to wake up to today!
Haven’t done any sketches for a couple of weeks so it’s nice to make one and share. This one is Kazan’s sketch #22 at 2Sketches4You.
Here’s my take on it, using some CTMH papers, and a stamp from Teresa Collins. I love these papers! My bow looks a little smooshed, sorry, that’s my scanner’s fault…
I’ve used popdots to lift up the sentiment a little bit. This was a quick and fun card to make! Thanks for looking!

I’m home sick today and have no energy to do anything but
1. Sit and surf blogs.
5. Submit for a card challenge.
I haven’t submitted to Caardvarks or Mojo Monday before, so this is a first — Caardvarks challenge is a Kraft paper card which I have done using the Mojo Monday sketch which is…
Mojo Monday #75 Sketch
I am using some Beary Patch stickers that I got for a prize at a crop last month — I realize I’m a little late for Valentine’s day but I think I could still give this card year round. The little circles are those little cork pads that come 36 to a package at Dollar Tree — I thought they would work with this card.
I’ve also used a border punch and corner punch from Stampin’ Up! and the polka dot paper are some scraps from Teresa Collins’ Documented papers. Thanks for looking!
This is a layout of my daughter Shannon and I at a wedding last summer. Shannon is 24, married and teaches 1st grade. Not only that, but she’s going back for her masters in literacy because she loves teaching little kids how to read! She’s also a counselor in her ward’s young women presidency and she and her hubby are Ward Activity Leaders. I think her bishop needs to cut her some slack and release her from the Activity calling but apparently nobody is listening to me 🙂 Anyway, I realize I’m tooting her horn, and loudly, but she really is an awesome daughter and this is a “busting my buttons” kind of layout.
I’ve used the “Documented” papers from Teresa Collins. I love these papers, and I’m crazy about all the little journaling boxes in this paper pack that I can use on future layouts. It’s great stuff for vintage/shabby/altered lovers like me.
